What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead sales efforts for the employer's enterprise portfolio of payment processing solutions in the government solutions vertical
- Expand and grow existing accounts within an assigned portfolio of key government customers
- Prospect and close new government accounts, managing the sales process from RFPs to contract signing
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, representing the employer’s values and ethical standards
- Develop and execute account strategies aligned with client growth plans and project timelines
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 7+ years of experience in sales and/or relationship management functions
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or military experience
- Strong planning skills for developing and refining account strategies
- Proficiency in eCRM tools for tracking and reporting sales pipelines
- Exceptional influencing and negotiation skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Extensive experience in long sales cycles with C-Level engagement
- Background in Government and Public Sector sales with demonstrated results
- Experience working in dynamic, matrix environments, particularly in the Acquiring and Payments Industry
- Proven ability to lead and develop account strategies aligned with client needs
- Previous product management experience
