      Job Profile / Activities:

      The Oil, Gas, and Marine Division is currently looking Territory Manager– Prime/Parts/Service Rep for South America's Oil & Gas division. As a Territory Manager- Oil & Gas, you are responsible for consulting with dealers to market Caterpillar products and services and assist in developing dealer sales capability.

      In this role, you will drive revenue and growth for O&G prime and aftermarket services business for Caterpillar dealers in South America. You'll communicate targets and follow established sales processes focused on the end customer. You will also provide leadership, guidance, and counsel to optimize dealer sales through process improvements, leveraging opportunity management systems and processes to Caterpillar's benefit while recognizing and respecting the independence of the dealer. You will build strong product knowledge and product support skills in your product support function. You will engage with the team in aspects such as Warranty Investigations, Service documentation, Continuous Product Improvement (CPI), New Product Introductions (NPI), and Product Field Follow Testing and Validation. Ongoing learning and knowledge development is a crucial component of this role, and specialized training is provided to the successful applicant.

      Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

      - Assists dealers in business planning: forecast, sales strategy planning and sales techniques

      - Supports rollout of new products ( eg , products, parts, customer service agreements, other service products)

      - Analyzes and communicating marketplace and competitive activity to Caterpillar personnel and dealers

      - Helps to create and promote programs that increase sales while maximizing price realization

      - Analyzes product application, configuration and utilization that provide the best solution for a customer

      - Counsel dealers in developing increased human performance capability

      - Provides guidance on existing and potential customer service issues and improvement measures within one industry

      - Other duties as assigned

      Basic Qualifications:

      Education: B achelor’s degree

      Experience: 3-5 years prior experience in field assignments or close dealer contact.

      Languag e: Pre Advanced English / Pre Advanced Spanish

      Travel: 30 - 50% of the time

      Behavioral skills: Leadership, Ability to communicate effectively with others in the work group; dealer personnel and customers; self-starter and initiative skills; ability to work autonomously; excellent listening, communication, and presentation skills; Demonstrated positive, can-do attitude.

      Desirable Qualifications:

      - Ability to work with a diverse group of employees and customers

      - Experience in Product Support, Parts and/or Service Marketing

      - Experience working with Energy and Transportation (preferably Oil & Gas) customers

      - Ability to translate challenging goals into clear action plans that deliver results

      - Ability to effectively influence at all levels of dealer organizations (executives to front line)

      - Stays abreast of industry and technology changes and relate those changes to Caterpillar, dealer, and customer needs

      - Advanced English

      - Advanced Spanish

      - Commercial and technical experience with dealers
