      Overview:

      We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Sample Coordinator to join our design team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong eye for design and color, along with excellent organizational skills.

      This role involves developing samples for appointments, collaborating closely with both the design and technical teams, and ensuring that all sample work aligns with our brand's vision and quality standards.


      Key Responsibilities:

      • Sample Coordinator: Create high-quality samples for presentations and appointments, ensuring alignment with design specifications and brand aesthetics.

      • Collaboration: Work closely with the design team to interpret creative concepts and ensure that samples reflect the intended vision.

      • Technical Coordination: Partner with technical designers to review tech packs, ensuring that all details, including measurements and construction methods, are accurate.

      • Art Placement Review: Oversee the placement of artwork on samples, ensuring that designs are executed precisely and effectively.

      • Color Expertise: Utilize a strong eye for color to make informed decisions regarding fabric selections and color palettes, ensuring harmony and impact in sample designs.

      • Sample Preparation and Tracking: Prepare and track all submissions, lab dips, and related materials, ensuring timely feedback and approvals throughout the development process.

      • Organization and Prioritization: Manage a calendar of sample development deadlines, prioritizing tasks to meet project timelines efficiently.

      • Fabrication Knowledge: Utilize your understanding of fabrications and garment construction to inform sample development and design choices.

      • Attention to Detail: Maintain a meticulous approach to all sample work, ensuring that quality and accuracy are upheld throughout the development process.

      • Sample Preparation: Prepare samples for distribution to retailers, ensuring that all accompanying materials, such as swatch cards, are created and accurate.

      • Photography and Record Maintenance: Photograph samples and maintain detailed records of all samples created, including specifications and notes on feedback from the creative team.


      Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.

      • Proven experience in sample development or a similar role within the fashion industry.

      • Strong knowledge of fabrications and garment construction.

      • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and other design software.

      • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

      • Keen attention to detail and a natural eye for design and color.

      • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various teams.

      • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sample development or a similar role within the fashion industry.
