Job Description
- Req#: d30dc48a64895a99ad49325fa6127943
- Due-diligence of the SAS estate with detailed information on SAS processes, SAS servers, SAS applications, SAS Data Sources, SAS Codes, Downstream processes, BI reports etc.
- Establish connect with key SAS user groups (Data Scientists/ETL Developers/Business Analysts/IT) across business domains like to map SAS applications and their usage patterns
- Develop architecture blue prints for SAS Migration – Example – Functional architecture for personas from business domains, Technical Architecture for Data, ELT, Analytics processes etc.
- Define migration roadmaps with clear success criteria
- SAS take out execution plan – Retire, Retain and Migrate components with deliverables, timelines, cost, dependencies and risks
- Analysis of the target state environment (Cloud/Databricks etc.) – Infra readiness, data availability, server/VM sizing, tools and tech stack etc.
- Analyze change management requirement and create execution plan involving people, process and technology
