What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Data entry into scheduling and billing software for surgical cases
- Resolve discrepancies and missing information through communication with internal and external clients
- Build daily schedules for anesthesia providers
- Coordinate with other divisions for cross-coverage needs
- Maintain surgeon/provider preferences list
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in medical terminology
- 2+ years of scheduling experience
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting
- 35-50 wpm typing speed
