      The Scientist within Process Analytics is a key member of the laboratory team who follows agreed experimental plans and timelines to deliver high quality execution of experimental work following all safety and quality procedures. They collaborate with peers in their own team and other teams to ensure that projects proceed as planned. They will identify and implement improvements to the standard ways of working, They work with more senior scientists to plan experimental work, identify issues and identify solutions.

      Key responsibilities:

      • Perform a range of analytical tests e.g HPLC, MEA, GXII
      • Analyse data and interpret results including troubleshooting
      • Maintain and take ownership of systems (documentation, calibration, troubleshooting)
      • Critically analyse information and drive good quality, data driven decisions on internal and customer projects * Mandatory field Page 4 05.12.2022 Corporate
      • Involvement in analytical commercial stages
      • Attend relevant internal/external forums
      • Input in to RCA
      • Perform assays for evaluation and Validation studies
      • Developing as an SME in a specific area • Customer interaction is expected including training as a customer rep

      Key requirements:

      • BSc - Relevant scientific/ technical discipline
      • Previous experience of using any one of these methods: HPLC, GXII, qPCR, icIEF, ELISA and CE SDS, LC/MS and UPLC and previous lab based experience
      • Experience in Analytical Method Development highly desirable
      • Good problem solving skills
      • Strong data organisation and analysis skills
