Job Description

- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access in accordance with site protocols.
- Screen visitors, vendors, and/or employees, maintain visitor logs, and communicate access-related information to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity as required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, lobbies, and/or perimeter areas to support security-related operations and report unusual activity.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
