      Job Description

      As a Security Officer Access Control Concierge in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location where you will monitor access points, verify credentials, and support badge-related processes while helping to maintain a professional environment. This Access Control role combines strong customer service and communication with visible presence and routine activity throughout assigned areas.       What You'll Do:

      • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
      • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access in accordance with site protocols.
      • Screen visitors, vendors, and/or employees, maintain visitor logs, and communicate access-related information to appropriate personnel.
      • Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity as required.
      • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, lobbies, and/or perimeter areas to support security-related operations and report unusual activity.

      Minimum Requirements:

      • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
      • Customer service experience is preferred.
      • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
      • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
      • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
      • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
      • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
      • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
      • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
