- Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Monitor visitor access, verify identification and/or credentials, and direct employees, contractors, and guests in accordance with front desk protocols.
- Answer phones, manage inquiries, and document incidents, unusual activity, and/or service requests in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations with professionalism, communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel, and support timely follow-up actions.
- Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining awareness of lobby activity, observing entry points, and reporting concerns according to site procedures.
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
