- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support location policies, assist with crowd management, and report maintenance, hazard, and/or policy issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Support loss prevention and other security-related efforts by observing customer and employee activity, reporting suspicious behavior, and following post orders for incident response and documentation.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a Security Officer Driving Role Campus Patrol in Sacramento, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.
