      Staff in this professional position are responsible for carrying out recruitment, selection, and enrollment strategies directed by senior leadership within the Office of Admissions. Qualifications will include strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, flexibility regarding assigned duties, and a commitment to working with both internal and external constituents that support annual recruitment priorities and goals.

      This position is a Grade: 8 - 40 with an approximate salary range of $47,570 - $57,090 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Manage a designated domestic recruitment territory, actively cultivating relationships with prospective students, guidance counselors, local alumni, and community-based organizations.
      • Develop and execute an annual 4-8 week fall travel plan, conducting 4-5 daily high school visits to promote key institutional signatures.
      • Coordinate regional off-campus interviews and implement targeted follow-up communication strategies to maintain strong relationships with prospective students.
      • Evaluate first-year and transfer applications using a holistic rubric that weights academic and non-academic variables against institutional values.
      • Interpret a variety of domestic and international grading systems and school profiles to assess a student's academic strength and potential for success.
      • Manage a high-volume workload during a dedicated 5-month application review period, consistently meeting daily, weekly, and monthly reading goals.
      • Deliver dynamic public presentations and information sessions to large and small groups of campus visitors utilizing multimedia tools.
      • Direct, organize, and participate in major on-campus recruitment events, open houses, and admitted student programs.
      • Guide, schedule, and review the work of student employees and volunteers assisting with recruitment initiatives.
      • Own the execution of specialized office tactics across areas such as diversity recruitment, marketing/communications, technology, and campus visitation.
      • Maintain flexibility to support essential evening and weekend admissions initiatives, including fly-in programs and regional receptions.

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
      • Three to five years of related work experience
      • Demonstrated organizational ability to manage competing priorities across a demanding recruitment calendar
      • Flexibility to adapt responsibilities as institutional priorities shift throughout the enrollment cycle
      • A collaborative approach to working with internal colleagues and external constituents toward shared enrollment goals
