      Join Macquarie’s central Media and External Communications team, working within the Group’s Corporate Affairs division. Work as part of a close team of communications professionals on diverse and interesting initiatives, supporting external communications for Macquarie Group.

      What role will you play?

      In this critical role, you’ll ensure key stakeholders are updated on media and social media coverage of Macquarie, conduct media analysis and research to support various business strategy, and manage reputational risks for external materials and messages. You will be responsible for organising a variety of media outreach and events and manage requests from journalists for Macquarie’s market commentary and research.

      What you offer

      • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and high attention to detail
      • Recently graduated with a university degree in communications, marketing or another associated field, and/or have up to two years’ professional experience
      • A collaborative work style as part of a busy team, while also working autonomously on key tasks
      • Enthusiasm, interest in news and current affairs, a strong appetite to learn, and good judgement
