  Job Summary

  The Data Engineering team at E15 creates industry leading data reporting assets for a wide array of clients, both internal and external. In this role you will work to understand business requirements, create technical specifications for the Data Engineering team, and document assets on delivery.
  
  The Business Intelligence, Business Analyst role focuses on understanding client requirements for E15’s proprietary data reporting platforms, and effectively communicating them to technical team members for implementation. An ideal candidate for this role will have outstanding communication skills, strong business acumen, and be self-driven. The data services team in which Business Intelligence operates is a highly motivated group of passionate Business Intelligence Developers, Data Scientists, Data Engineers & software developers focused on delivering A+ Business Intelligence products to internal and external clients.

  Responsibilities

  • Supporting intake of requests & requirements gathering for Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Data Science teams.
  • Working to ensure that the delivered data assets meet the requirements of the end users.
  • Ownership and maintenance of our project asset catalog (Secoda.co)
  • Work with SME’s across the wider E15 and Compass organization to
  • Documenting data which is currently produced by clients, including quality, consistency and availability metrics.
  • Writing technical requirements documentation for our developer teams.
  • Present data products and new features to stakeholders, and receive feedback on changes.
  • Work within a software development lifecycle process, collaborating with project managers and technical teams.

  Requirements

  • 2+ year of experience in reporting
  • Intermediate level SQL
  • Experience presenting to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and soft skills
