Job Description

- Advanced knowledge of SQL with the ability to write complex SQL queries and stored procedures
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- Ability to create Architectural documents EX. Data Flows, software flows, etc.
- Deep understanding of SQL-based systems and experience with modern ETL tools
- Some experience with SSIS and Power-BI a plus. SSIS is to be depracated.
- Knowledge of relational and multi-dimensional database architectures
- Healthcare industry experience
- Experience in Cloud based data warehousing and code versioning tools
- Hands-on experience in cloud technologies as it relates to migration, implementation and deployment.
- Knowledge of the Agile methodologies

Come join the team serving the Primary Care Organizations IT data engineering needs. The PCO is one of the fastest expanding areas in Humana with around 240 owned clinics expanding to over 450 in the next 2+ years.
The Senior Data Architect works in all data environments which includes data design, database architecture, metadata and repository creation. The Architects work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Will be helping build and architect systems using some of the following Databricks, Snowflake, Python, SQL and other cloud related technologies.Responsibilities
Responsibilities
The Architect is responsible for developing blueprints for all data repositories, evaluating hardware and software platforms, and integrating systems. You will be joining a team with strong technical skills to assist in these duties. Translates business needs into long-term solutions. Defines, designs and builds dimensional database schemas. Evaluates reusability of current data for separate analyses. Conducts data sheering to rid the system of old, unused or duplicate data. Reviews object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
