      Bosch Thermoteknik AB develops, manufactures and sells a complete range of heat pumps. Our main focus lies in the development of energy-efficient products with particular focus on renewable energy. We are about 800 employees in Tranås. Our most famous brands are Bosch and IVT.

      Your contribution to something big

      • You will be a key player in EMC related problems or on topics of EMC directive on heat pumps but also a wide range of components and accessories.
      • You will analyze internal and external requirements and produce material order specifications.
      • You will break down and analyze electrical requirements according to safety, legal, functional, and cost.
      • You will produce electrical schematics and perform electrical calculations such as cable dimensioning and fuse size calculations.
      • You will build harness samples from the ground up and install various electrical components in heat pumps.
      • You will participate in electrical testing based on internal and external requirements such as leakage current, temperature, ground continuity, high voltage, lifetime, IP etc.
      • You will support other departments with analysis and troubleshooting of different electrical problems in the lab, production and in the field.
      • You will support 8D topics and risk assessments.
      • You will take part in and drive FMEA’s.

      What distinguishes you

      Required skills

      • Engineering degree and/or several years working with EMC questions in manufacturer’s environment.
      • Knowledge in EN and IEC standards.
      • Electrical testing according to relevant product standards and troubleshooting.
      • Experience as an electrical test engineer and/or cable harness designer.
      • Experience in electrical testing according to relevant product standards and troubleshooting.
      • Experience using product lifecycle management (PLM) software.
      • Self-driven and experienced with various tools for building samples.
      • Ability to work and reach targets independently.
      • Problem solving mindset.
      • Good written and verbal communication skills in English (due to our international working environment).

      Preferred skills

      • Certified electrician.
      • Experience in EMC simulation software.
      • Knowledge in IEC 60335 and product certification topics.
      • Experience in AutoCAD Electrical and Siemens NX.
      • Experience in SAP.
