Job Description
- Req#: 122942
- Develop firmware on the whole stack, from device drivers up to the application, supporting development of new products and maintenance of existing ones
- Lead the analysis and definition of the overall architecture of new products
- Aim to deliver high quality, high maintainable software
- Collaborate with all the Project Team members to build and deliver the solution with the highest value for the customer
- Ensure continuous innovation through use of the latest technologies and research for new patents
- Lead a group of developers in the successful launch of new products
- Design and write application code for new products and systems
- Write device drivers for microcontrollers, sensors and other peripherals
- Work with hardware developers on board bring-up, hardware debugging and testing
- Participate in the daily stand up, demo and retrospectives meetings
- Participate in the release and sprint planning meetings
- Provide support to other R&D departments, customer support personnel, marketing and production department
- Collaborate with the test and validation department, providing the necessary support
- To be responsible and accountable of the technical decisions, being able to evaluate, explain and justify the advantages/trade-offs in term of cost, time, quality and risk
- Ensure code reuse across different products whenever possible
- Support and provide technical leadership on the firmware aspects of the products
