What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Supervise, hire, train, and evaluate human resources staff involved in recruitment and classification functions
- Conduct job analyses and classification studies, recommending changes and preparing specifications
- Plan, develop, and coordinate valid examination materials and selection processes
- Analyze salary data and conduct salary studies to inform classification placement
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to ensure inclusive practices in recruitment and selection
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master's degree in human resources management, public or business administration, behavioral science, or a related field, AND two years of professional HR experience; OR
- Bachelor's degree in human resources management, public or business administration, behavioral science, or a related field, AND three years of professional HR experience; OR
- Any bachelor's degree AND four years of professional HR experience conducting job analyses
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience conducting position classification studies and developing validated assessment methods
- Familiarity with state and federal employment laws and regulations
- Strong presentation and communication skills for public speaking and reporting
