- Support idea development, patent development and regulatory compliance strategies with a multi-discipline team
- Define possible use cases for engineering technology and communicate their importance to impacting the world and supporting Baylor's mission and goals
- Support research teams developing and deploying technologies
- Assist university Lab to Market partners to expedite the commercialization of engineering technologies
What We’re Looking For
As someone who knows the engineering field inside out, you've spent years using that know-how to make sure clients have the right technology and processes. Now you want to show how that can be applied to get technology from the lab to the market faster. You know how to design, build, and deploy solutions thanks to your in-depth understanding of how business, engineering technology and operations intersect. You get a quiet satisfaction from using your talents to solve problems in new and creative ways. You have mastered describing solutions in the context of business challenges, thanks to your above average communications and interpersonal skills. Your experience means that you've got innovative answers when people come to you with problems. You collaborate and are creative in inspiring teams to turn in quality work on time. Additionally, the successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
A Terminal degree (PhD, MD, JD, MFA, ME, etc.) in a relevant field, up to a year of relevant experience, and an active Christian faith are required. Five or more years of experience leading innovation or commercialization projects are preferred. Experience maybe considered in lieu of education. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
