  Senior Investment Manager

  Salary London £70,000 - £100,000 National £60,000 - £90,000

  A bit about the job:

  The role will initially focus on setting strategy for, managing and optimising collateral. The role holder will also provide significant support to the team in fulfilling their responsibilities of Investment Strategy, Asset Manager Monitoring, Oversight, Portfolio Management, Derivative and Collateral Management and Investment Reporting.

  The focus is predominantly around providing support for the Matching Adjustment Portfolio (MAP) but also includes other Shareholder funds and support to Group entities.

  Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Experience of working with insurers and/or asset managers in portfolio management. Specialised in credit analysis (public and private), quantitative finance, investment strategy and management for insurers

  • Strong technical and practical knowledge of financial markets and risk

  • Matching Adjustment and Collateral management knowledge would be beneficial but not essential

  • Strong IT skills (including advanced Excel), analytical skills

  • Good time management and strong organisational skills, showing an ability to prioritise and plan in a flexible and proactive manner

  • Salary between £60,000 and £100,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
