      Job Purpose

      We are looking to bring in an Automation/Low Code Specialist under Global Finance Technology to help the development, implementation, enhancement and maintenance of Next Generation Digital Automation Platform. This is a significant opportunity for an experienced technologist with experience in low code automation platforms to move into a role within a growing team working with a variety of development teams, including close collaboration with Finance and Risk Shared Services. (FRSS) Exposure to Retail Banking products or Wholesale/Investment banking is preferred.

      Responsibilities

      • Implement and configure end-to-end functionality of a process using Low Code automation platform in close collaboration actual users, BAs, QAs and other SMEs.
      • Solving high priority and critical JIRAs raised by end users ranging from small bug fixes to application enhancement to expedite the delivery.
      • Help build continuous integration environment and engage in end-to-end system development processes
      • Ensure that application development and enhancement is in line with Citi’s Coding Standards.
      • Partners with multiple technology teams like QA, Finance and Risk Shared Services, BAs and Release Management to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals; identifies and defines necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process enhancements.
      • Provide support as L3 resource of high impact and highly critical problems / projects with considerable business impact through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes and industry standards.
      • Provides expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of applications programming.
      • Implement and follow standards for coding, testing, code review, debugging and implementation.
      • Providing expertise in technical analysis and solving technical issues during project delivery.

      Mandatory Skills

      • Significnat IT experience.
      • Development experience in one or more Low Code Platform i.e Appian, XCeptor, Power Apps or RPA/Automation, BluePrism etc.
      • Experience in working on one of the programming languages – Java, Python, C#, VB.net
      • Good understanding of database concepts and strong working knowledge of any one of the major databases eg Oracle SQL Server
      • Worked on Agile methodology – Scrum or Kanban with knowledge on tools like JIRA, Confluence etc.
      • Good knowledge of Microsoft Tools like MS Excel, etc.
      • Experience in SCMs like GIT, BB. Understand branching strategy
      • Understating of automated build and test processes
      • Ability to understand FRD and able to cover requirement into technical solution
      • Ability to lead discussions and prepare product evaluation criteria
      • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
      • Experience in providing solutions for a wide range of technologies – Java, Low Code, Web Technologies, etc.
      • Experience in working in both waterfall and Agile methodologies.
