      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Maintains responsibility for the structural and functional (machine, power, water, security) viability for a manufacturing facility.
      • Assigns and approves expenses for all projects in building repair, alterations and modifications.
      • Serves as liaison for construction and repair projects. Reviews bids and estimates to determine best vendor and may complete ringis.
      • Approves and executes facilities master plan/strategic plan to systematically address on-going facility requirements in support of local manufacturing and consistent with the financial goals of the organization.
      • Supervision, training, and timekeeping of trade staff personnel including hiring, on-going development plans, retention and motivation of team members. Strategic development of staff and organization for succession planning.
      • Responsible for expense and labor reporting to sr leadership.
      • Responsible for managing multiple projects and tasks over both short and long-term periods of time.
      • Responsible for root cause analysis and preventative action in response to facilities issues.
      • Maintains appropriate relationships with key governmental and regulatory agencies in order to effectively communicate the organization's plans and effectively align the interests of all parties.
      • Collaborates with municipal/regulatory organizations' personnel on issues or permits concerning the facility.
      • Review of all on-going contracts and blanket orders for services in conjunction with Supply Management to locate most appropriate and cost-effective suppliers and alternatives.
      • Timely dissemination of budgetary allocations to consuming departments.
      • Creation of strategies to reduce costs and consumption of energy through progressive building and conservation strategies.
      • Compiles and maintains factual information on plant facilities, including reviewing all applicable codes to comply with city and state regulations/requirements.
      • Establishes preventive maintenance standards and schedules in SAP.
      • Assist with Environmental Compliance and monitoring activities as required.
      • Membership on facility Emergency Response Team. Available for after hours contact and emergencies.
      • May be responsible for administration of commercial/industrial leases and management of tenant relationships.
      • May be responsible for select property management activities at additional facilities.
      • Frequently interacts with sub-ordinate supervisors, customers and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company. Often must lead a cooperative effort. May be involved in hiring, discipline, termination and performance management.
      • Performs other related duties as required.

      REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
      High school diploma required, 4-year degree preferred
      5 years’ experience as Manager in manufacturing facility
      15 years’ experience in hvac, maintenance and machine repair
      Ability to work in an ITAR environment
      Must pass a background check and drug test

      Pay range: $111,353 - $161,235 per year
