Job Description

- Responsible for pricing analysis and modelling, price databases
- Responsible for Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR): Design, conduction and publication of budget-impact, cost-effectiveness, cost-of-illness, cost-utility, quality of life and real-world evidence studies.
- Project lead and management of national and regional market access projects
- Support of the AMNOG processes (early advice meetings, value dossier, hearings, price negotiations).
- Collaboration with local Market Access, Medical, Regulatory, Government and Public Affairs colleagues, Global HEOR and Value & Access colleagues.
- At least Master’s degree in nature or economic science or medical degree, knowledge about Public Health and / or health economics is plus
- 3+ years of experience in Biotech, Pharma or healthcare organizations with a focus on Market Access
- Outstanding analytical, methodological, and strategic capabilities
- Good understanding of Market Access processes and policies on national and regional level, especially the AMNOG process
- Excellent HEOR skills (e.g., design and conduction of HEOR studies, modelling), especially with respect to quality-of-life instruments
- Good understanding of German health care system, ideally knowledge about international health care system archetypes
- Excellence in developing, driving and implementing projects in cooperation with internal and external parties
- Experience in therapeutic areas named above, is a plus
- Recognized team player
- Good writing and presentation skills
- Excellent knowledge of English

The Position
Market Access is a highly strategic function with broad cross-functional interaction across the local and global Gilead organization. Our Market Access team has the goals to (1) ensure that patients have national and regional access to our products and (2) to achieve a sustainable product price.
This position will significantly contribute to these goals by conducting pricing analyses, initiating, and overseeing HEOR studies, as well as leading and supporting various national and regional market access projects. The Senior Market Access manager is collaborating with several internal and external partners, working in cross-functional teams and creating solutions for complex national and regional Market Access topics including the AMNOG process. Hence, excellent technical and social skills are important.
