- Be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing care to a varied orthopaedic caseload.
- Be autonomous in assessing, treating and discharging inpatient orthopaedic patients in a timely and safe manner.
- Manage a daily caseload of patients including those with complex needs.
- Encourage patients and their familys/carers in an active approach to regaining and maintaining personal independence. This requires empathy, sensitivity and good interpersonal skills.
- To support in the supervision of junior staff, therapy assistants and students.

- Have post registration orthopaedic experience.
- Possess a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy

Job summary
KIMS Hospital, Maidstone is the largest independent hospital in Kent and we are recruiting. We have a new and exciting opportunity for a dynamic and highly motivated physiotherapist with a passion for orthopaedics therapy to work in rotational orthopaedic role within our Physical Therapy Department to join our established musculoskeletal and orthopaedic therapy service.

Our current Physical Therapy service at KIMS Hospital is a multi-disciplinary team comprising of Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Hand therapists, Occupational Therapists, Womens Health Specialist and a Sports Medicine Consultant to provide exceptional patient care throughout the entire patient journey.
As a Senior Orthopaedic Physical Therapist you will assess and treat patients within Orthopaedics in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
You will have a clinically reasoned/problem solving approach to treatment and patient engagement while maintaining clinical records in accordance with professional standards.
This is a full time role working to cover a 7-day services. Weekend working and overnight respiratory on call will be required.
