  Job Description

  We are looking for a Senior QA Developer with Python who will be primarily responsible for designing and implementing the project architecture for end-to-end test automation, configuring virtual environments, developing complicated long-running automated tests, analyzing defects, and submitting them to our bug tracking system.
  
  Your tasks will include:

  • Participate in designing automation testing architecture and develop tests for Veeam Backup and Replication and other Veeam products from scratch.
  • Develop and maintain testing infrastructure and tools.
  • Implement end-to-end test automation and maintain complicated long-running automated tests.
  • Configure virtual environments for testing.
  • Analyze defects and submit them to the bug tracking system.
  • Collaborate with manual QA testers and developers.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and practices.

  Qualifications

  This job is for you, if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in automated testing.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Strong experience with test automation frameworks such as pytest or Robot Framework.
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  Having proficiency in the following domains would be an advantage:

  • Fundamental understanding of PowerShell.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one of the following technologies and products: VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, network protocols, cloud services, tape devices, and storage devices.
