      Overview Want to lead establishment of proper controls for Product Development related to quality system information and data for a Fortune 200 Company with some of the most iconic brands? If you have a bachelor’s degree along with three plus years of relevant experience in Quality, Product Development, Technology, Sciences, or Regulatory Affairs, we want to speak with you! We are currently looking for a Sr. Quality Systems Engineer I to join our Product Development group in Richmond, VA but are open to a remote work arrangement. This position will lead and/or support compliance-related projects and strengthen our infrastructure support to ensure alignment to Altria's policies and regulatory requirements. The position will be responsible for Tobacco Product Manufacturing Practice (TPMP) readiness by aiding the product development teams with proper documentation of product data that meets all best practice guidelines and quality system requirements. What you will be doing: Managing, monitoring and enhancing the effectiveness of product quality assurance by guiding continuous improvement methodology. Working closely with Statistician to ensure proper control strategies are used (e.g., six sigma, process controls and capability) and adequate documentation is created. Representing and supporting Product Development as Lead Information Specialist, serving as key accountable for compliance to our Information Management policy. Engaging in multi-functional project teams and activities to help address gaps in product development related processes and documentation to ensure compliance to TPMPs. Participating in functional and multi-functional initiatives, including process improvements, and guidance in developing internal policies and interpreting Quality requirements to assure compliance goals are met. We want you to have: Bachelor's degree Quality Engineer Certification preferred (CQE) 3+ years of relevant experience in Quality, Product Development, Technology, Sciences, or Regulatory Affairs. Experience in Consumer-Packed Goods or FDA regulated industries preferred Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, or Visio are preferred. Candidates with project management and/or data analysis experience are preferred. Experience in continuous improvement and statistical methods applied to product specifications and controls such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, Process Capability, Total Quality Management, and Ishikawa diagram. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills along with a passion to collaborate and work with others Demonstrated problem-solving; analytical, planning, and organizational skills are required. Excellent attention to detail, verbal, and written communication skills Sponsorship Immigration Sponsorship is not available for this role.
