      About this role:

      Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Risk Analytics Consultant. Credit Risk Intelligence & Transformation (CRIT) is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and managing reports and monitoring tools specific to our internal partners as well as external reporting needs.

      The Credit Risk Intelligence & Transformation (CRIT) team provides multiple levels of actionable information necessary to measure, evaluate, and communicate credit risks across Wholesale Banking.

      This role will be responsible to produce or update Credit Risk reports and organize/coordinate any materials/data necessary to satisfy these requests. These requests originate from various areas of the bank, regulators, board members, etc.

      Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

      • Managing information requests from the Corporate & Investment Banking or Wealth & Investment Management Credit Risk Management teams.
      • Organizing/coordinating any materials/data necessary to satisfy requests.
      • Line of business/Group Senior Credit officer reporting.
      • Develop customized reports, ad hoc analyses, and/or data visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI.
      • Data mining from a variety of sources – internal and external.


      In this role, you will:

      • Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and delivering insight and decision strategies within analytics and reporting.
      • Review and analyze moderately complex data aggregation, reporting, and programming models.
      • Be responsible for process production, data reconciliation, and model documentation in alignment with policy governance.
      • Resolve data, production, business modeling, and lead team to meet Risk Analytics deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of risk reporting policies, modeling, strategies, procedures, regulatory requests, and compliance requirements.
      • Collaborate and consult with peers, experienced managers, compliance, and technology to resolve modeling, forecasting, and production issues, and achieve analytic and reporting goals.
      • Lead projects, teams, and mentor less experienced staff.
      • Partner with cross enterprise risk analysts in development of common modeling strategies.


      Required Qualifications:

      • 4+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.


      Desired Qualifications:

      • Experience with SQL and ability to read/create complex queries.
      • Experience with Power BI.
      • Experience with credit risk and/or Wholesale lending.
      • Familiarity with risk-based capital and liquidity.
      • Ability to understand business processes and the technical aspects of various systems/IT needed for risk reporting.
      • Ability to obtain and manipulate data from non-normalized/disparate data sources.
      • Ability to automate and create repeatable/scalable operating and reporting processes with data integrity.
