      About the role:

      This position will provide Automation Development to various Business Units within Customer Operations and other LexisNexis Risk Solutions business units. This role functional reports to the Technology Supervisor (RPA) and works in collaboration with the onshore and offshore teams to design and develop robotic process automation and work through all phases of the automation development life cycle.

      This role utilizes RPA technology, specifically UiPath technology to support business strategies and improve business processes by developing process automation solutions that meet or exceed enterprise quality and security requirements. The role will also engage with Business Analysts for requirements gathering to capture the as-is process and map the to-be process.

      About the team:

      This role will work with the RPA Program Manager to understand upcoming technology and business solutions, engage in analysis, design, development, testing, training, installation, and transition of post implementation support.

      QUALIFICATIONS:
      • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience
      • BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required

      TECHNICAL SKILLS:
      • UiPath certification/Power Platform Certification; highly preferred
      • Working experience in coding RPA solutions at enterprise level using one of the industry leading Robotics Automation Solutions Provider such as UiPath and/or other alternative RPA solutions such as Power Automate.
      • Experience in workflow scripting, web services and Integration objects and database configuration.
      • The ability to communicate effectively with technical personnel as well as management/executives including verbal, formal presentation and written communication skills is essential.
      • Ability to perform development in line with best practices, articulate why a particular approach is best for supporting a requirement, deliver a clean, well-commented configuration, and unit test effectively.
      • Understanding of Process Design documents, Technical Design documents on Automation space and knowledge of various automation components and features available in Process Robotics Automation.
      • Ability to write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of complex system components.
      • Ability to complete complex bug fixes.
      • Good oral and written communications skills.


      ACCOUNTABILITIES:
      • Participate in hands on development, configuration and testing of process automation (RPA) to meet the defined requirements.
      • Design and develop process automation using core RPA workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, documented, maintainable and easy to understand.
      • Monitor existing RPA functions, be responsible for and develop status reporting, troubleshoot, and manage issue resolution of RPA across all phases.
      • Work collaboratively with global process experts, subject matter experts and business stakeholders during process analysis, script development, QA and UAT phases to deliver high quality RPA automations.
      • Experience with Process Analysis, Design, and Implementation, Business and Technical requirements, Problem-Solving, and System(s) Testing, including UAT and Bug fixes
      • Take responsibility for project activities including work estimation, planning, stakeholder management and project quality.
      • Strive to embrace diverse ideas, best practice, and industry trends from a variety of sources (internal and external) to create quality solutions, products, and services.
      • Mentor less-senior software developers on development methodologies and optimization techniques.
      • All other duties as assigned.
