What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide technical assistance and training to small water/wastewater utilities and community organizations
- Conduct on-site visits, needs assessments, and progress reporting
- Assist with utility rate analysis and budget development
- Conduct outreach and networking for the RCAP program
- Deliver presentations and facilitate public meetings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Preferred bachelor's degree in finance/accounting, business management, or equivalent experience
- Experience in water or wastewater management, municipal finance, or utility office/administration operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office modules, internet, and database software
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass motor vehicle records checks, criminal background checks, and drug/alcohol testing
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in community development or related field
- Familiarity with rural development networks and associations
