      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide technical assistance and training to community groups and local government officials on water and wastewater management
      - Conduct on-site visits and needs assessments, preparing progress reports on project statuses
      - Maintain communication with potential and existing funding sources
      - Serve as a trainer/mentor for new staff and assist with program development
      - Research and analyze proposed regulations, developing policy papers and training curricula

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in environmental resources, planning, finance/accounting, business management, or equivalent experience
      - Experience in water or wastewater management
      - Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, internet, and database software
      - Valid driver's license and safe driving record
      - Dependable transportation available for daily use

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Certified as a water or wastewater operator
      - Experience in grant writing and funding development
      - Familiarity with NEPA environmental assessments
      - Background in utility rate-setting and project planning
      - Experience in community development and outreach
