What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to enhance the cybersecurity posture and hygiene program
- Prioritize remediation efforts with a risk-based approach to configuration drift
- Develop scripts to extract cybersecurity hygiene and posture data from in-scope application APIs
- Create dashboards and alerts for stakeholders regarding configuration drift and remediation needs
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to integrate systems into the cybersecurity posture and hygiene program
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years of experience; Master’s Degree with 5 years of experience; or PhD with 0 years of experience in information security or related fields
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity tools for continuous monitoring, such as Tenable and CrowdStrike
- Proficiency in using Splunk for data analysis and security monitoring
- Proven ability to leverage scripting languages like Python, Bash, and PowerShell
- Expert knowledge of operating systems, networking protocols, and security technologies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Professional cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, CCSP, or GSEC
- Highly autonomous and productive with minimal oversight
