An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sr. Software Architect within the Industrial Automation Business. Your mission will be to develop Edge compute offers as part of the Industrial IOT business unit. In this position, you will prepare future offers/solutions using newer technologies and platform. Join our team and significantly be involved in the success of Schneider Electric! Designation: Sr Software Architect Candidate must be strong in Software Architecture Principles. Hands on experience in Architecting and designing the medium to large software systems. Ability to understand and articulate the interdependencies with multi-system and subsystems involved in the large systems. Ability to articulate the data flow and control flow among the systems and Subsystems. Ability to build system level use cases. Understanding marketing and product requirements translating to System level architectural, Software subsystem requirements. Activities involved: 1. Understanding Business Requirements (Marketing & product) 2. Propose system level architecture. Work with the Dev team on implementation 3. Review designs, interfaces, code for consistency , reusability, scalability and cyber security 4. Provide technical consultation to the developers. Assessment of right technology choices in the projects. Build and Review the threat models 5. Hands on technical skills to build Proof of Concepts (PoC) to validate technologies and business cases Technical Skill Set (Maximum of the below): · Back-end: Go Lang, Python, C#, Web API, WCF, ASP.NET, .NET Core, , SQL, PowerShell script · Database: MS SQL, Document DB, Data Lake · Cloud: Azure (SAAS, PAAS, IAAS and Development) · JavaScript Frameworks: Node Js, Angular 2+ · UI: Bootstrap, HTML 5, · Source Control & Mgmt.: VSTS / Jenkins / CICD, Git / SVN / TFS Other Competencies: - Passionate about learning new things in the creative and technology spaces - Translating Business / Product requirements to Engineering Requirements - A self-starter; ready to push boundaries to shape and deliver - Maturity to navigate in fast-paced situations - System level & functional level Architecture and Design - Ability to Influence/Convince on right technology choice and solution approaches - understanding of prototyping techniques and creating proofs of concept - Ability to communicate effectively and contribute to a team environment - Customer Focus and orientation towards fixing pain points using technology - Out-of-box ideas - Knowledge to generate prototypes spanning web, mobile and desktop - Knowledge of Cyber Security, Threat Modelling, Secure development - Knowledge on Industrial Automation is a big plus Experience: 10 Years and aboveAbout the company
