What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and develop high-performance, scalable microservices using Node.js or Java
- Deliver robust and intuitive frontend experiences using React
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system specifications and technical requirements
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical decision-making processes
- Implement robust error handling, monitoring, and automated recovery mechanisms
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in Node.js or Java for backend development
- Strong proficiency in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience building secure, scalable APIs and enterprise-grade applications
- Proven ability to design systems that meet compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI DSS)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with event-driven architectures and tools like Kafka
- Familiarity with Temporal or other orchestration frameworks
