**What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):**
- Translate technical specifications into meaningful information for various user roles
- Develop, design, and validate data extracts for interfaces with external customers
- Collaborate with application analysts to coordinate useful tools for operational and analytical needs
- Ensure thorough documentation for extracts, training resources, and project progress communication
- Curate efficient T-SQL queries in Microsoft SQL Server for use in the Epic Cogito SQL framework
**What is Required (Qualifications):**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, and 4+ years of analytics experience including SQL; OR 6+ years of healthcare analytics experience and 4+ years of SQL experience (in lieu of degree)
- 4+ years of Epic experience with Clarity, Caboodle, Clinical, Access, Revenue Cycle, Healthy Planet, and/or Compass Rose data models
- Proficiency in T-SQL with experience in writing and optimizing queries in Microsoft SQL Server
- Strong understanding of relational database design, schemas, and best practices
- Ability to effectively investigate customer requests and perform root-cause analysis to define practical solutions
**How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):**
- Current Epic certifications in assigned applications: Cogito, Cogito Tools Administration, Caboodle Data Model, Clarity Data Model
- Experience in selecting appropriate tools, methods, and techniques for data review, validation, and analysis
- Strong attention to detail in documentation, data quality, and testing
- Proven ability to translate technical specifications into clear, actionable information for both technical and non-technical users
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment
