What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a QSP expert by developing and executing model-based analyses, including QSP and mechanistic PK/PD models
- Leverage QSP models to design and prioritize combination clinical trials
- Collaborate with biologists, clinicians, and other scientists to enhance understanding of disease mechanisms
- Engage in building, calibrating, and validating QSP models for decision-making in drug development
- Communicate findings and strategies effectively in both written and verbal formats
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Ph.D., PharmD, or equivalent degree with at least two years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with four years of related experience
- Proven experience in developing mechanistic PK-PD and QSP models for clinical development
- Proficiency with modeling and simulation packages or programming languages (e.g., MATLAB/SimBiology, QSP Designer, R)
- Hands-on experience in building, calibrating, and validating QSP models
- Professional working proficiency in written and verbal communication
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with mechanistic modeling for antibody drug conjugates (ADCs), bispecifics, or T-cell engagers
- Familiarity with clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics in oncology
