What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive new customer acquisition and manage a quota for net new bookings
- Establish deep relationships with strategic prospective customers and understand their missions and technology needs
- Build programs that drive social impact and account development in the public sector
- Collaborate with partners to expand territory and develop customer opportunities
- Provide accurate forecasts and manage sales pipeline using CRM tools
What is Required (Qualifications):
- At least 5-8+ years of experience in sales or consulting focused on public sector organizations
- 12+ years of experience selling complex, technical products or relevant customer-facing experience
- Deep experience in the Public Sector partner ecosystem and co-selling with partners
- Proven ability to influence and build relationships at all organizational levels, including C-level executives
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience in a revenue-generating role within technology
- Familiarity with public sector contracting and pricing processes
- Experience with partners to maximize value and drive joint messaging
- Knowledge of the State/Local Government and Higher Education markets
- Active relationships with key partner executives for deal execution support
