What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Own and grow a portfolio of strategic public sector accounts, ensuring revenue growth and new bookings
- Develop trust-based relationships with executive stakeholders, understanding each organization’s mission and technology needs
- Create and execute multi-year strategic account plans that align solutions to customer outcomes and social impact goals
- Identify and close new opportunities while driving expansion within existing accounts
- Collaborate cross-functionally to build compelling business cases and support deal execution
What is Required (Qualifications):
- At least 5-8 years of experience in sales or consulting focused on public sector organizations
- 12+ years of experience selling complex technical products or relevant customer-facing experience
- Deep experience in the public sector partner ecosystem and co-selling with partners
- Proven ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with experience in accurate business forecasting
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience in a technology-related revenue-generating role
- Familiarity with public sector contracting and pricing processes
- Experience working with fulfillment and resell partners
- Knowledge of leveraging partners for customer implementations and new revenue opportunities
- Understanding of the State/Local Government and Higher Education markets
