      Purpose :

      The Senior Global GxP Training Specialist is a critical role aligned to our Unified GxP Training Strategy. The role required is a utility player, someone who can work collaboratively across R&D and the GxP Training organization. This role is accountable for LMS Optimization, GxP Training metrics and GxP curricula. This role will consult with the business on curricula and ensure we continually optimize our curricula aligned to the strategy. As noted below in the responsibilities, we will have a compliance gap with the transition if we do not fill this role.

      Responsibilities :

      • Collaborate with Director, Global GxP Training and other stakeholders to execute multi-year training strategy
      • Collaborate with Director, GxP Training to establish system governance and standards to ensure learning management systems are leveraging full capabilities while ensuring compliance.
      • Provide insights and consulting with the business on training needs and training needs assessment processes. Interact with departments across R&D to ensure training curricula are specific to department/site needs and ensure that department/site staffs are effectively trained on corporate policies, department processes, GXP procedures, and regulatory training requirements.
      • Responsible for collaborating and consulting with internal stakeholders to create, revise, and maintain curricula, training items and user groups in the Learning Management System (LMS).
      • Responsible for managing and monitoring user accounts/profiles in the LMS.
      • Generate compliance training reports and metrics for GxP Training Leaders and R&D stakeholders.
      • Responsible for working with functional leadership to reconcile training events completed after the assigned due date.
      • Responsible for providing training qualification documentation for audits/inspections.
      • Contribute to the actions to address findings related to training responsibilities.
      • Maintain LMS processes and training material based on current processes and version of the LMS.
      • Provide support to the instructional designer(s) in the development of training courses.
      • Provide input into continuous improvement for the use of our tools (LMS, Smartforms, intake, curricula management tool)
      • Cross training team members on tools and processes cultivating a culture where team members lean in, and all do the work across departments, affiliates, etc.
      • Challenge the status-quo, ask questions and be curious about the work we do and how we can be efficient and effective.
      • Maintain close working relationship within GxP Training and with various departments subject-matter experts to enhance the access/delivery of training content and identify opportunities for training system improvement.
      • Collaborate with Operations & internal IT department and provide insights into the development of LMS and serve as the system subject-matter expert to support and engage training partners.
      • Provide ad hoc project support for training initiatives including operational projects and training design.

      Qualifications:

      • BS/BA degree in Business, Sciences, Computer Information Systems or equivalent
      • 7 + years’ experience leading GxP training curriculum initiatives and programs for an organization.
      • Previous training experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry is highly preferred.
      • Experience with learning management systems, ComplianceWire a +.
      • Experience developing and implementing course curriculums, assessments, testing and other processes to ensure the effectiveness of the learning and development activities.
      • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills
      • Demonstrated ability to to analyze and solve problems
      • Excellent communication written and verbal skills
      • Strong planning, organizational and time management skills
      • Proficient with Excel, Word and Powerpoint
