      JOB SUMMARY

      Responsible for the accounting close, planning/forecasting, and reporting/analysis of local Repair Shop Operations. Partner with the local Shop Leadership and pertinent functions at Corporate (Equipment, Finance, and Supply Chain) to work towards these objectives. Work collaboratively with internal TTX departments to create and manage value-added reporting as well as track against key performance indicators (KPIs) as they relate to shop production, labor and overhead expenses.

      Qualifications

      REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

      · Data Visualization: Skills to present data in a pictorial or graphical format to enable decision makers to see analytics presented visually and grasp difficult concepts or identify new patterns.

      · Data Interpretation: Skills to correctly extract, analyze and intuit meaningful information or data from the various data sources such as structured and unstructured dataset, charts, tables, graphs, etc.

      · Data Storytelling: Skills to build a narrative around a set of data and its related visualizations to convey the findings from the analysis and allowing individuals to understand complex aspects and use them to take action against the issues.

      · Data Manipulation: Skills to change and organize data by applying logic and calculations to make the resulting dataset easier to read and present.

      · Constructs financial models

      · Maintains proficiency with tools and statistical modeling techniques (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Hyperion, Essbase and Business Objects)

      · Understands and applies costing techniques

      · Builds clear, accurate, and repeatable forecast models

      · Develops and integrates budgets for multiple functional areas

      · Analyzes and reports performance metrics to management

      · Applies a broad range of analytical techniques to identify business issues, opportunities and risks

      · Discovers new and interesting patterns across data sets using cluster analysis, dependencies, and anomaly detection

      · Uses Financial Systems

      · Applies a wide variety of advanced statistical, mathematical, and market research techniques

      · Leverages data mining techniques to forecast future trends and probabilities

      · Challenges investment assumptions used to develop metrics (e.g., IRR, NPV, ROI, etc.)

      · Works with multiple, inconsistent data sets from across the organization

      · Extracts insight from disparate sources of data

      · Shifts analyses between Excel and analytical data tools

      · Assists non-financial partners in interpreting complex analyses

      PREFERRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

      · Data Quality Management: Skills to use metadata, reference data, application logs, data catalogs and technologies (e.g., ML, knowledge graphs, NLP) to search for data, identify and fix mistakes, ensure validity, and sync with raw dataset.

      · Data Bias Detection: Skills to identify bias that occurs during data source identification, data collection and data processing, which could later feed into the ML's training model.

      · Process Mapping: Skills to visually describe using flowcharts the detailed flow of a process.

      · Legacy Process and Systems familiarity: Ability to help deal people and teams with the transition or transformation of an organization’s or function’s goals, processes, tools or technologies.

      · Change Management: Ability to help deal people and teams with the transition or transformation of an organization’s or function’s goals, processes, tools or technologies.

      · Synthesizes and simplifies financial and non-financial data

      · Monitors accuracy and predictive validity of existing models forecast)

      · Monitors and communicates budget performance against pre-set targets

      · Ensures alignment between operating budget and strategic plan

      · Maintains familiarity and ability to use mass database skills

      · Ensures assumptions underlying performance targets are well-grounded in reality while driving for stretch results

      · Identifies metrics that drive performance against strategic priorities

      · Streamlines business reviews to focus management on the most critical risks and opportunities

      · Designs end-to-end models, which include identifying objectives, sampling, testing, calibration, and monitoring performance

      · Generates statistical models that can capture and quantify risks and opportunities

      · Generates reports with customized data parameters to aid decision making

      · Evaluates tradeoffs within a diverse portfolio of existing and proposed growth projects

      · Uses machine learning techniques

      QUALIFICATIONS

      · Bachelors in Finance, Economics, Management or Accounting; Masters and / or CPA preferable but not required

      · 3-5 years of financial analysis, general accounting and/or FP&A experience, with preferred background in an Operational Finance or Shop Accounting

      · Strong interpersonal skills in particular able to engage comfortably with senior executives and remain poised and articulate under stressful interactions; skilled at operating in a matrix reporting relationship

      · Working knowledge of business processes, financial modeling, and systems-oriented FP&A experience.

      · Experience with Oracle ERP and EPM preferred

      · Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills as well as superior analytical aptitude and organizational skills

      · Resourceful, detail-oriented, quantitative acumen, mindset for continuous improvement · Internal client service approach and project management skills, including the confidence to escalate issues in a timely fashion

      · Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to maintain data integrity

      · Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and self-organize then follow-through on multiple sometimes heavy simultaneous projects

      OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS

      Standard schedule is M-Th 10 hours per day, with exception to Corporate Finance and FP&A schedules. This position requires a physical presence on-site.

      Responsibilities

      KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

      · Lead, develop and manage all Finance functions and personnel (as applicable) at local Repair Shop Operations. Maintain a culture of effective controls, meaningful analytics, strong operational support and efficient processes

      · Support the Shop Finance Manager in preparing the Four-Year Plan and quarterly Board Forecasts, including cross-functional coordination with Shop and Operations leadership and providing thorough analysis of cost drivers and variance analysis

      · Coordinate with the Controller’s department and Shop operational management during the monthly, quarterly, and annual ERP close processes and perform timely variance analysis reporting to include key financial metrics and KPIs related to local shop performance. The Shop Finance Supervisor will also have responsibility for ad hoc analysis, including financial management reports and metrics/dashboards

      · Ensure the delivery of timely and accurate monthly accounting close, financial, and operational reports

      · Inform the design and development of relevant dashboard metrics and financial models to execute trend and variance analysis of key financial metrics and KPIs related to local shop performance.

      · Provide day-to-day support and assistance related to financial systems as well as ad hoc analysis as needed by Shop management
