  You will be joining an agile, empowered team, focused on extending GLCP to support advanced analytics and Data Science use cases. HPE GLCP provides abstractions, components and infrastructure for running data processing workloads, from foundational analytics to machine learning use cases. The team leverages the latest big data and microservice-based technologies to build the data processing platform – Apache Spark/PySpark, Jupyter, MLFlow, Delta Lake, Kubernetes, GraphQL, TimescaleDB, Postgres. The development stack is Scala. The test automation development stack is Pytest and Python.

  Responsibilities:

  • Evolve our cloud and SaaS test automation strategy

  • Implement and support automation scripts and automation frameworks for web services

  • Leverage various techniques to scale an application in a cloud environment

  • Ensure SLA requirements are continuously monitored and met

  • Mentor and technically lead junior team members

  Requirements:

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field

  • Strong background developing test automation for SaaS applications and distributed systems

  • Well versed with automation for cloud applications that run on popular public cloud services such as AWS and Azure

  • Proven record of Python based automation, contributing to released software

  • Solid grasp of computer science concepts including data structures, object-oriented design, distributed computing and cloud computing paradigms

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong aptitude for troubleshooting/problem-solving

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in an Agile methodology (rapid iterations, rapid releases, etc)

  Nice to Haves:

  • Working knowledge of database technologies (ex. postgres, MongoDB)

  • Delivery of one or more large-scale enterprise data products meeting petabyte scale, real time, low latency data processing requirements

  • Experience with Kubernetes based cloud stacks, working knowledge of popular open-source infrastructure services.

  Annual Salary: $109,400.00 - $251,500.00
