- Development languages/frameworks: C#, JavaScript, Stencil, Javascipt.
- Databases: MSSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, MySQL.
- Amazon: AWS SDK, Elastic Beanstalk, ElastiCache, S3, and AWS cloud-native architectures.
- DevOps Tools: NewRelic, AWS CodeBuild, Github, Splunk.
- Be a part of a team of software engineers that design and develop code that consistently adheres to good programming practices.
- Design, develop, and maintain high volume Microsoft .NET C# web services using industry standard tools and frameworks.
- Build modern UIs using Stencil.
- Participate in architectural sessions and provide solutions to complex problems.
- Design and maintain schemas in our databases.
- Write efficient SQL for loading and querying data.
- Collaborate with product managers and technologists to solve business problems.
- Live by Agile (particularly Scrum) principles and collaborate with team members using Agile techniques including test driven development, code reviews, and retrospectives.
- Maintain Cox Automotive’s position as an industry leader by exploring new technologies, languages, and techniques in the rapidly evolving world of high volume data processing.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 2 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and up to 2 years’ experience; or 14 years’ experience in a related field.
- 2+ years of professional application development experience with a proven ability to deliver projects on time.
- C# experience.
- Hands-on experience with designing and implementing on AWS is preferred
- Experience with designing and implementing high volume web services.
- Strong database development skills, including advanced SQL, relational and NoSQL database technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work with team members to deliver projects on deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation
Compensation includes a base salary of $95,900.00 - $143,900.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.Job Description

As a Software Engineer II on the Inventory Management Core team, you’ll design and develop robust web services and internal tools that support inventory workflows and pricing systems. You’ll work closely with product managers, UX designers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-impact features that improve dealer efficiency and consumer experience.You’ll be a well-rounded developer with a strong grasp of best practices for building high-volume, cloud-native applications. You’ll help shape engineering standards and explore emerging technologies to keep our platform modern and resilient.
