- As a member of the Precision Health Platform API engineering organization, you will build modular, composable, and interoperable components for our public platform APIs.
- The Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices, as well as experience with a variety of programming languages and technologies, with particular emphasis on Go, Terraform, GCP and Apigee.
- Develop, and test software applications
- Work with with the team to implement solutions
- Write and maintain documentation for software applications
- Collaborate with other engineers and developers to ensure code quality and consistency
- Experience: 3 - 10 years
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in software engineering
- At least 5 years experience as a software engineer in an industry setting
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively
- Expertise in building software and systems on any of: GCP, AWS or Azure (GCP preferred) Clear written communication, especially in design and architecture documents.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3-5 years Experience
- Expertise in building software and systems on any of: GCP, AWS or Azure (GCP preferred)
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated experience with Go
- Demonstrated experience designing and building customer-facing APIs
- Demonstrated experience with Apigee or similar API gateway/proxy technologies
- Education or exposure to healthcare or life sciences, with emphasis on HL7 FHIR
