- Analyze and define Functional requirements of the user story (requirements) and acceptance criteria.
- Must have experience on SOLR and JAVA
- Complete executive Summary documents participate in Code reviews changes and coordinate deployment.
- Support Operational reporting requirements coming from the Singapore team and quickly deliver them.
- Learn how Micron’s customers use the data today with the goal of improving the user experience and developing a good understanding of how the feedback loops work with key customers by building positive relationships
- Collaborate with business team members and other developers to ensure that the solution is meeting the business needs.
- Drive effective agile project management through active engagement in the Scrum development process.
- Provide hands-on demonstration of the solution and provide Functional support to key stakeholders during the testing and deployment phase.
- Work with teams to deliver effective, high-value reporting solutions by maximizing an established delivery methodology.
- Graduate-level degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- The Senior SOLR Developer will play a vital role in the development, testing and deployment .
- Will work closely with clients, developers, system administrators, project managers, business analysts
and end users to build a state-of-the-art Digital . - Design efficient content models, security models, workflows and templates.
- Employ strong coding standards for efficiency, readability, and reuse.
- Experience on SOLR with JAVA skills
- Overall, 5-8 years’ experience
- Experience with Portal or related technologies a plus
- Experience with HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, and AJAX
- Experience with RESTful and SOAP-based web services
- Strong Angular.js experience or related technologies a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with content management technologies
- Experience in Sling, Spring and Struts Framework or other MVC frameworks.
- Experience working with geographically separate project teams.
- Experience with unit testing and automated testing tools
- Experience with secure coding practices
- Experience implementing web content management systems in a large corporate environment.
- Experience with object-oriented design and design patterns
- Excellent estimation abilities in scoping work in a highly complex environment
- Experience with web and application servers, such as Apache and Tomcat
- Exposure to open-source technologies
- Experience building, deploying and supporting Internet-facing applications.
- Superior problem solving, organizational, decision-making, written, oral and interpersonal skills.
