- Must be A.R.D.M.S. (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) registered or registry eligible and must be registered/registry eligble in one ultrasound modality.
- Must be A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) registered and cross-trained and or registry eligible in one ultrasound modality.
JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Responsible for maintaing the uniform operation of the department. Demonstrates competency in assigned areas as outlined in the procedure manual. Receives and processes necessary paperwork; maintains on-going records, performans exams according to policy while assuring patient safety, comfort and protection. Assists the radiologist and attending physician. Communicates effectively and appropriately. Works effeciently and productively. Maintains a clean and safe work environment Demonstrates the proper use and care of equipment. Reflects a caring attitude toward patients, visitors, and other employees. Stays abreast of changes through continuting education programs.
EDUCATION/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
ORExpected to take call in any area after the completions of competency requirements are met.
Should perform a rotation and maintain competencies in one modality.
Must live within a 30 min response to call back area
Should have CPR certification.About the company
