      Sr. Advanced Cyber Security Architect/Engineer is a critical member of the Defense and Space Security Enterprise, ensures compliance with government regulations, and interfaces with Honeywell and government senior representatives to clarify and interpret requirements and resolve issues. Sr. Advanced Cyber Security Architect/Engineer is responsible for providing guidance to all levels of employees regarding the safeguarding of classified / protected information by developing and maintaining procedures that will ensure classified / protected material is safeguarded appropriately. This is a detailed, task-oriented position that must be able to operate independently with absolute minimal supervision.

      The Honeywell buildings (Mississauga and Cambridge) are a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance. Main job site will be Mississauga with some travel to Cambridge.

      RESPONSIBILITIES:
      • Prepare and implement Information System Security Plans and Protection Profiles.
      • Work closely with US DCSA Representatives and Information System Security Professionals (ISSP) and CAN IT Field Industrial Security Officers to achieve system accreditation and maintain compliance.
      • Conduct regular audits to ensure that systems are being operated securely, and computer security policies and procedures are implemented as defined in security plans.
      • Provide technical and user support for numerous standalone and network systems.
      • Prepare materials for computer security education/awareness programs.
      • Conduct investigations of computer security violations and incidents, reporting as necessary to management.

      Must Have
      • Basic understanding of IT Security Risk Management (ITSG - 33) controls and requirements
      • Basic understanding of Canadian Contract Security Manual
      • Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance
      • System Administration experience with: Windows/Server 2016/2019/W10/W11
      • Experience administering an Active Directory domain and managing backups

      We Value
      • Basic understanding of US NISPOM, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)
      • Basic understanding of US NIST 800 controls and requirements
      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems.
      • 5+ years as Windows Systems Administrator
      • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done.
      • Ability to create specific action plans, prioritize time and resources effectively
      • Able to work with Engineers and Program leadership to review and convey technical ideas and concepts through team discussions, presentations and in writing on security needs and methods of being compliant while not being an impediment to success
      • Must be able to work with cross-functional teams to meet expectations of internal and external customers
      • Conveys information with clarity and directness, ensuring the message is understood across diverse, global teams
      • Comp TIA Security+ Certification
      • CISSP Certification
