      American Honda Finance Corporation (dba Honda Financial Services and Acura Financial Services), a wholly owned subsidiary of American Honda Motor Co., Inc., helps to satisfy the financing needs of consumers of Honda and Acura vehicles, Honda and Acura accessories, as well as Honda motorcycles, power equipment, and marine products. AHFC offers financing in the form of both retail installment sales contracts and leases, depending on the product and the needs of the customer.

      About this Position:

      This Senior Analyst position is responsible for quantitative analysis of data from Compliance monitoring tests of AHFC operations through the following: (1) developing tests that measure key compliance metrics; (2) systematically gathering this information; and, (3) effectively interpreting and effectively communicating the results with the goal of achieving overall compliance standards that will meet and exceed the expectations set by state and federal regulators

      Responsibilities include but not limited to:

      • Evolve and maintain an analytical data-driven approach to AHFC, translate critical regulatory language into relevant compliance language
      • Maintain cutting edge knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment that affects AHFC business ops.
      • Maintain overall knowledge of business Ops as well as develop specific subject matter expertise
      • Actively engage tools and resources to monitor, analyze, research, investigate and communicate recommendation of AHFC compliance risk
      • Other special assignments as requested related to UDAAP

      Who are we seeking:

      • BA/BS degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science or related field
      • Masters is a plus
      • Minimum 5 years data analytics experience; related regulatory, legal or compliance experience preferred
      • Excellent organizational and time management skills
      • Superior oral and written communications skills
      • Attention to detail

      Other Job Specific Skills:

      • Experience with data analytics tools including but not limited to computer programming languages
      • Excellent time management and organizational ability
      • Proficient in MS Windows (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
      • Ability to use data analysis tools such as SAS and DB2 preferred

      Additional Position Factors:

      • Workstyle: Hybrid (Remote 1 days in office required)
      • Travel 10%

      • Competitive Base Salary: $79,700 to $119,600

      Pay will be based on several variables that include, but not limited to geographic location, work experience, education, etc.
