What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide project management support for cross-functional initiatives and projects for the Finance and Accounting organization, including system implementations and operational improvements
- Support Finance and Accounting budget reporting processes and provide recurring status updates to track operational and initiative-based spending
- Identify, document, and communicate risks encountered by in-flight projects, escalating to relevant stakeholders as needed
- Collect required governance and project artifacts to document completion of standard project and SDLC milestones
- Deliver end-user training regarding optimal use of finance project management tools and supporting technologies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree
- 6+ total years of professional experience, with at least 4+ years of relevant professional experience
- Solid understanding of standard project management practices, tools, and methods
- Strong understanding of standard Finance and Accounting processes
- Proven track record of creating and maintaining meaningful relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior Enterprise Performance, Strategic, and/or Operations consulting experience
- Experience within a publicly traded multi-national company, preferably a high-growth company
- Prior ERP and/or other finance system implementation experience (NetSuite, SalesForce, FinancialForce, etc.)
- Experience working with shared services
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
