In conjunction with the respective brand leadership, define and implement the strategic commercial plans for EYLEA HD, Eylea and other potential retina launch assets
Leadership point of contact and active participant on Brand Core Teams with regards to brand planning, new launches, and budgets
Develops long term, senior level (President/GM/VP) relationships with GPOs
Lead the development of GPO contracts and guide the GPO team on proper execution that support the brand goals
Work with marketing and compliance to create necessary customer facing materials, including GPO program launches, marketing resources, and presentations for customers and internal stakeholders
Analyze market trends and make recommendations for GPO pricing and programs
Core team member on a variety of strategic initiatives including pricing, market trends, and customer senior level engagements
Developing, presenting and implementing the annual GPO budget to support each brand
Forecast total annual GPO fees and contract discounts
Provide market place feedback in a timely manner to corporate leadership on customer business trends, competitive programs, and industry issues and opportunities
Anticipate potential trends, changes to market conditions, and areas of opportunity and make recommendations to brand leads
Present GPO performance to brand leads during quarterly Market Access Business Reviews
Work with GPO Partners to develop resources for successfully implementing the brand strategy
Meeting deadlines with all new GPO contracts, amendments, and renewals including Master Service Agreements (MSA)
Lead and direct GPO team with contracting process with GPOs as it relates to contract and service negotiation, implementation, and follow-up
Lead the rebate reconciliation process in collaboration with Finance and vendors
Ensure company compliance to distribution and price reporting activities, as related to GPO programs and contracts.
Responsible for developing relationships and ensuring strong product access through GPOs
Ensures and drives consistent GPO Partner implementation of Brand strategy with respect to pull through of account-specific programs, activities, and brand messages

A Typical Day Might Look Like This:The Senior Director, Retinal National GPOs will report to the Executive Director, Payer & GPO Access. The Senior Director is responsible for leading, hiring, managing, and developing a team of GPO Account Directors for ophthalmology assets. The SD, in conjunction with the Market Access strategy and Pricing leads, will provide leadership with group purchasing organization strategies and customer pricing for Regeneron products, with specific focus on ophthalmology and related markets to support brand and access goals.
This Position Might Be for You If:This position routinely interacts at the senior management level across commercial departments. Position requires partnering across multiple departments (marketing, pricing, compliance, sales, and training) in a high-level matrix driven environment.
To be considered for this opportunity you must have a Bachelor’s degree. 15+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech or related experience with at least 10 years focused on GPOs. Ability to travel 50%, including weekends as necessary. Proven knowledge and relationships with key Executive level decision makers in ophthalmology and other GPO markets and institutional trade partners. Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make strategic recommendations. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of PowerPoint and advanced Excel skills. Additional broad-based experience valued: sales operations, contracting, corporate partnerships, marketing, sales management, and/or supply chain. Previous experience in launching new Specialty Pharmaceutical/Biologics products or indications. Ability to travel 50%, including weekends as necessary.
