      As a Sr. Human Resources Manager for one of the top seafood suppliers in the Santa Fe Springs area, you will be responsible sourcing, recruiting and hiring process, and responsible for the onboarding procedures for the company for both union and non-union employees. The contact point for any global HR-related issues.

      Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with union representatives regarding employee issues; interpret various aspects of the CBA/MOA, to managers and employees
    • Collaborate with labor attorney, union representatives and participate in union negotiations
    • Responsible for the onboarding procedures for the company for both union and non-union employees
    • Talent management and performance review strategy and process
    • Handling culture and employee engagement
    • Leading HR communications
    • Assisting with HR compliance and regulatory needs
    • Managing HRIS, ATS systems, etc.
    • Performing other duties, as needed
    • Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of Human Resources management experience
    • 5+ years of recent experience in a Union environment; working knowledge of grievances, mediation and managing effectively in a union environment, understanding & managing through a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)
    • 3-5 years of training/facilitator skills in HR areas, i.e., safety, benefits, compensation; possess a working knowledge of safety programs and processes, accident investigation and OSHA compliance
    • Experience running a multi-state HR function with both in-office and remote employees
    • Bachelor's Degree and/or a related field
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote) with advanced proficiency in Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, VBA)
    • Estimated salary range is $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per/year
