What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze, design, develop, and maintain software applications using the latest Microsoft technologies with minimal supervision
- Formulate and define system scope and objectives for complex software applications
- Mentor other engineers and participate in the training or development of team members
- Communicate directly with product owners and end users to gather requirements and feedback
- Ensure automated processes run as expected and assist in code reviews
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer, or a technical related field or equivalent experience; high school diploma required
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in computer programming, specifically with ASP.Net, VB.Net, C#, and SQL
- Experience in web development programming within a client/server setup
- Proficient in relational database design, writing queries, and stored procedures using MySQL or Microsoft SQL
- Demonstrated ability to design and architect complex enterprise-level systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with development and consumption of web services
- Familiarity with software development life cycles such as Agile or SCRUM
- Knowledge of XSLT and XML
- Experience with software design patterns and SOLID design principles
- Experience in mentoring other programmers
