      We are looking for an exceptional and compelling writer to write reviews, guides and newsletters on Los Angeles' restaurants.

      As a Staff Writer, Los Angeles in The Infatuation (CDJ), you will spend your nights checking out as many restaurants as possible, and your days writing about them, alongside a talented, dedicated team of smart, funny people who love exploring this city. This is a full-time position and you'll receive a monthly budget to spend at restaurants that you are reviewing for our publication.

      Job Responsibilities

      • Dine out multiple times per week for restaurant research using your restaurant budget.
      • Write reviews and guides in collaboration with your Editor.
      • Participate in editorial brainstorms and team meetings, pitching new restaurants to cover and ideas for new situational guides.
      • Meet or exceed deadlines while pushing the larger editorial calendar forward.
      • Contribute to city newsletter and social media content as needed.
      • Partner with social media and marketing teams on larger content packages.

      Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

      • You have exceptional creative writing and editorial skills.
      • You're able to write copy and create content while adhering to The Infatuation’s brand standards and tone of voice.
      • You're passionate about Los Angeles and have expert knowledge on its diverse landscape of neighborhoods and restaurants.
      • You're excited about dining out and sharing commentary on your experience.
      • You live in/nearby Los Angeles.
