Job Description
- Req#: 801294
- Identifies and redacts confidential, exempt, and sensitive information from digital evidence, physical files, PDF files, photo files, and audio/video files in order to respond to public records requests.
- Redact video, photos, and audio files
- Ensure accurate redactions for documents and audio/video files to comply with Public Records Law
- Efficiently organize, prioritize, and manage daily work schedule to complete assignments and meet required deadlines
- Assist public records in the review and processing of public records requests
- Other duties as assigned
- Associate’s degree in graphics or related field or at least two years of work experience is required.
- The ideal candidates should possess hands-on experience and a working knowledge of basic video and photography editing workflows using software such as Photoshop, Adobe DC Pro, Adobe Premier CC, Adobe Audition CC, Microsoft Office Suite, and Sony Sound Forge.
- Solid understanding of photographic composition, familiarity with video and audio software, and be able to troubleshoot audio and video hardware.
- Ability to differentiate between various audio, video, computer, and network cables and connectors.
- Confidentiality is required
- Time management skills
- Candidates must have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, while working independently or as part of a team

Position Opening – Multimedia Specialist – Public Records
Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Salary Range: $45,000 / Year plus Benefits
F/T Position: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Education: Associates Degree of equivalent
Experience: At least 2 years
Job Purpose:
The primary responsibility for this position is the oversight and processing of public records requests. The individual should be a self-starter who accepts challenges, work well under pressure, and require minimal supervision after training.
